Managing your contact database.
Contacts is a central database of all the people your bots interact with. Contacts are created automatically when someone messages your bot, or you can create them manually. The contact database is shared across all bots and channels in your organization.
Create, edit, and delete contacts from the Contacts page. Each contact has a name, phone number, optional email, notes, and tags. You can also import contacts in bulk from a CSV file or export your entire contact list.
Use AI-powered semantic search to find contacts by meaning, not just exact matches. Search across contact names, notes, and metadata. For example, searching "customers interested in premium plan" will find relevant contacts even if those exact words don't appear in their records.
Pull contacts from your connected WhatsApp channels into Neuron. Go to Contacts and use the sync feature to import contacts from a specific channel. This imports names and phone numbers from your WhatsApp contact list.
Each contact stores: name, phone number (unique identifier), email (optional), notes (free-text, useful for context the bot can reference), tags (for categorization and filtering), and custom metadata (key-value pairs for integration data like customer IDs, plan names, etc.).
