What is the Web Agent?

The Web Agent is a helper that browses social media for you. Point it at a platform — Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Facebook — tell it what you're after, and it scrolls and gathers what it finds into your Neuron dashboard, all on its own. No copy-pasting, no spreadsheets. You can watch it work live, or just check the results later.

What you can do with it

A few things people use it for:

   Collect posts & content

   Gather top posts, captions, comments, and profiles from a feed, hashtag, or specific accounts into a Collection you can browse and reuse.

   Find leads

   Pull people and businesses — with their handles and any visible contact hints — into your Leads pool, ready to reach out.

   Research a niche or competitor

   See what's working in your space (which posts get real engagement) without scrolling for hours yourself.

   Feed your Personas

   Turn a Collection of a creator's posts into a reusable writing voice your bots can generate content in.

Set it up — step by step

It takes a couple of minutes:

   1. Add the browser extension

   Install the Neuron extension in Chrome or Edge (use the 'Get the extension' link on the Agent Runs page).

   2. Sign in to Neuron

   Open the extension — it connects to your Neuron account automatically when you’re logged into the dashboard.

   3. Open the platform

   Go to instagram.com, x.com, tiktok.com, linkedin.com, or facebook.com in the same browser, logged into your account there.

   4. Pick a mission and press Start

   In the extension's Agent tab, choose what you want (e.g. Content or Leads), give the collection a name, and click Start Session.

   5. Watch it live

   Come back to the Agent Runs page — you'll see the session running with live counters as it works.

Where your results go

Content missions save into Collections (sidebar → Audience → Collections). Leads missions fill your Leads pool (Audience → Leads). Open any run from the Agent Runs page and use "View collection" to jump straight to what it captured.
